Virginia Maye Switzer, 67, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Mrs. Switzer retired from the US Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her mother, Velva Trammell; and siblings, Erney Trammell and Linda Salinas. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Richard Switzer; daughters, Larinda Hopkins (Charlton) and Donna Hall (David); grandchildren, Alexander Hopkins, Alexis Hopkins, Kiera Michelle, Kailyn Maliah, Kamden Matthew, Kanah Miracle, Stephanie Hopkins, Samantha Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Evelynn, A'Miracle, Josiah, Malachiah; father, R.H Trammell; siblings, Shirley Bailey, Wanda Trammell, Henry Trammell; numerous nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Noon in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service. www.subfuneralhome.com
