Sally Ann Gilbert Barner, Stice, age 76 of Buechel, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 28, 2015 with her family by her side. Sister Stice was born in Warsaw, NY on May 16, 1938 to the late Edgar and Marian Gilbert. Sister Stice was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for about 65 years. She served in the Navy Waves for 4 years, had a lifelong passion for genealogy, nursing, and sewing, especially quilts.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her first husband, Carl Barner and her second husband Raymon Stice.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her childern, Timothy Barner, David Barner(Gloria), Bruce Barner, Gary Barner, and Scott Barner; one stepson; three stepdaughters; ten grandchildren; one great grandaughter; siblings, Nancy Junot, Larry Gilbert, Sue Sherman, Glen Gilbert and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1000 S Hurstbourne Pkwy, Louisville, KY.) with inurnment at a later date in Grove Place Cemetary (Rochester, NY).
