Mrs. Ruth Earleen Roederer, age 75, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Mrs. Roederer was born in Louisville, KY on October 29, 1941 to the late Earl William and Martha Aileen Gagel. She was a member of Hebron Lane Church of Christ.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her son, George Phillip Roederer.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 57 years, Vernon George Roederer; children, Judith Brown (Glen), Cathy Darnell (Steve), Allen Roederer and Douglas Roederer (Tracy); grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie, Brittany, Christopher, Justin, Brett, Dallas, Tanner, Dalton, Eva, Jessica, Diana and Wyatt; 5 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Martha Eloise "Lois" Hargesheimer (Bill); brother, Earl Ray "Jack" Gagel (Pat) and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
