Mrs. Reggie Malya Lloyd, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 27, 2015. Mrs. Lloyd was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Mrs. Lloyd was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 5, 1947. She graduated from Purdue University and worked as a Pharmacist before entering into a 35 year Photography Business with her husband at Darwin's Photography. She spent her last several years practicing Pharmacy. Reggie enjoyed being with her family and her 4 young grandchildren.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents, Herbert and Isabelle Goldstein and her grandson, August White.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 44 years, Darwin Lloyd; her three children, Jason Lloyd (Hye-Mi), Kourtlee Gravil (James) and Kylene White (Terry Jr.); grandchildren, Avery Lloyd, Beckham Gravil, Owen Lloyd and Vera Lillian Gravil; her devoted siblings: Marcia Shaffer (Fred) of Carefree, Arizona, Elon Brown (Gene) of St. Louis, Missouri, Scott Goldstein (Sara) of Leawood, Kansas and Evan Goldstein (Dana) of Phoenix, Arizona; her best friend, Barbara Gardner and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may pay their respects on Sunday at a visitation from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance). A service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, March 30, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, Grace on Wings, or Hosparus.
